The Department of Japanese Studies (DJS) is proud to announce that Associate Professor Dr. Dilruba Sharmin of this department has been awarded the prestigious Japan Foundation Japanese Studies Fellowship 2025-26. Her research topic is ‘Sociolinguistic Challenges of Bangladeshi Diaspora in Japan and Potential Actions’. This is a significant success for the department.
