DJS Sports Club
DJS Sports Club, founded on 29 December 2024 by Abdulla Al Mamun and Sifatul Islam—the Founding President and General Secretary—and permitted by the Former Chairman of the Department and Chief Adviser of DJS Sports Club, Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam, stands as the official sports organization of the Department of Japanese Studies, University of Dhaka. Guided by its esteemed moderator, Wasik Sajid Khan, lecturer, 
Department of Japanese Studies, the club is dedicated to cultivating a refined and dynamic sporting culture that complements the academic excellence of the department. The club had started its official journey on 30 December 2024 under our honorable Club Moderator and Advisory Board. The executive committee for the DJS Sports Club was signed and permitted by Club Moderator Wasik Sajid Khan on 7 January 2025, and the committee took responsibility on the same day.

To nurture discipline, leadership, physical well-being, and teamwork among students by providing structured, inclusive, and thoughtfully curated sports opportunities.
